Q: Does the iSteady Pro 4 support connection and control of all action cameras?

A:

iSteady Pro 4 is only compatible with GoPro 11/10/9/8/7/6/5 (*GoPro 7 White and Silver version is not compatible due to the lack of smart remote control)

Q: After connecting iSteady Pro 4 and GoPro for the first time, will they automatically pair for next time?

A:

After connecting GoPro 11/10/9/8/6 with iSteady Pro 4, they will pair automatically.

However, for GoPro 7/5 you will need to reconnect them every time the device restarts.

Q: Why can't GoPro 7 control recording?

A: GoPro 7 can control recording by simply selecting 'Connect Device' - 'GoPro Application' after completing the normal connection, and then press the gimbal's power button once to activate recording control.

Q: Why does the gimbal vibrate after power on?

A: 1.Please make sure to mount the camera before powering on the gimbal.

2.For some lightweight action cameras, you need to reduce the gimbal motor power via the app (Hohem Gimbal - Settings - Motor Options)

Q: Why can't the phone app connect to the gimbal via Bluetooth?

A: 1.Enable phone Bluetooth (Enable ONLY)

3. Launch the Hohem Gimbal app

4. Select "iSteady Pro 4"

5. Click "CONNECT DEVICE" (Important! Bluetooth must be connected in the app!)

*If the connection fails, exit the app, restart Bluetooth, follow the steps above, and try again.
